Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead all day-to-day accounting/bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and monthly close
  • Prepare and maintain accurate internal financial reports, statements, and dashboards to support operational and leadership decision-making
  • Oversee and improve the development of and compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit readiness across the organization
  • Collaborate with program and development teams to lead grant budgeting, fund allocations, and reporting compliance

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 6–8+ years of nonprofit financial operations experience, with 3+ in a Controller or supervisory role
  • Proven success managing complex funding streams (federal/state grants, private foundations, donor restrictions)
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and audit processes
  • Technical fluency with Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel (required); Salesforce experience a plus
