Controller (Director of Accounting)

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting for non-profit entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain internal controls and safeguards for financial transactions
• Coordinate all financial audit activities and prepare internal financial statements, business activity reports, and financial position forecasts
• Manage all tax compliance requirements, including state and federal registrations, tax filings and tax reporting

This role supports the organization's mission of accelerating health equity globally by ensuring financial integrity and compliance, enabling the delivery of life-extending treatments and patient-centered healthcare to people in low- and middle-income countries.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, CPA or master’s preferred in Business Administration, or similar field
• 5-7+ years of professional experience working and/or consulting in the nonprofit/NGO accounting field; global experience preferred
• Advanced skills using MIP and/or knowledge of comparable cloud-based accounting software
• Experience with international transactions and accounting, including translation of financial statements denominated in foreign currency
