Mission

What you will drive

  • Oversee general accounting operations including General Ledger, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Payroll, internal controls, and accounting policies.
  • Manage monthly close activities, prepare financial statements, and coordinate with external accounting partners.
  • Oversee grants and contracts accounting, ensuring compliance with Uniform Guidance, FAR, and award-specific requirements.
  • Lead audit preparation and manage external audits, including Single Audits and IRS Form 990 preparation.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including nonprofit, government-funded, or complex operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, audit preparation, and government contract accounting (Uniform Guidance/2 CFR 200, FAR).
  • Proficiency with Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
