Controller / CFO

• Oversee all finance, accounting, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead annual budgeting and planning, monitor financial performance, and present reports to senior leadership and board committees.
• Manage grants accounting, cash flow forecasting, and optimize accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a positive work environment and cross-departmental collaboration.

This role ensures the organization's financial health and sustainability, enabling effective program implementation and responsible resource management to maximize social and environmental impact.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience, including nonprofit accounting and audit, financial reporting to executive teams and external stakeholders.
• Solid experience with external audit, budget development, grants management, and accounting software (e.g., Accounting Seed, Salesforce).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance managers.
