Mission

What you will drive

  • Build and scale Intersect's Integrated Operations Center (IOC) from the ground up, including recruiting, training, and leading a 24/7 control room team of NERC-certified operators.
  • Oversee real-time fleet operations for utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and gas generation assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation.
  • Serve as Incident Commander during critical events, coordinating response to grid disturbances, outages, and emergencies.
  • Enable cross-functional operational execution by partnering with Field Operations, Technical Services, Asset Management, and Trading teams.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of experience in utility-scale power generation, centralized control room operations, or transmission operations.
  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience managing control room personnel or rotating shift teams.
  • NERC Reliability Coordinator (RC) or Generation Operator (GOP) certification required; ERCOT Operator Certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, or transforming operational teams and processes.
