Contract Talent Sourcer

• Source, engage, and attract passive world-class engineering and scientific talent.
• Design and optimize sourcing workflows, tools, and talent pools for long-term scale.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Thea Energy's mission.
• Collaborate with VP of People and hiring managers to understand technical needs and calibrate search strategies.

This role directly supports the scaling of Thea Energy's fusion energy technology, which aims to provide a limitless source of zero-emission energy, combating climate change and creating a sustainable future.

• 5+ years of elite technical sourcing experience with deep-tech, hardware, or advanced R&D teams.
• Proven track record of sourcing highly specialized passive technical talent using advanced Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and alternative channels.
• High autonomy and speed; experience as an independent contractor (1099) or in a solo sourcing role.
• Deep understanding of hardware/physics engineering (e.g., magnetics, cryogenics, power electronics, nuclear/plasma systems).

• Rate: $50/hour on a 1099 contract (depending on experience and location).
• High-autonomy environment with a self-motivated, creative team.

Thea Energy is leveraging breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to commercialize fusion energy, reinventing the stellarator with planar coil arrays to create a simpler, faster path to zero-emission energy.
