Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Research, conceptualize, write, submit, and manage grant proposals and applications for government, foundation, and corporate opportunities to support WOC client organizations' programming and operations.
- Collaborate with the WOC team and client staff to gather relevant information to develop compelling grant applications and supporting documentation.
- Manage deadlines and workflows for Letters of Intent (LOIs), grant applications, and reports, including internal deadlines for information collection, to ensure timely submission and a high success rate of funding requests.
- Attend virtual meetings with WOC and clients to plan, develop strategy, and track grants.

Required skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional grant writing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong project management skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using grant search tools, CRMs, and project management tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in human services, social justice, gender equality, human rights, international development, and philanthropy.
Benefits

Compensation: $42/hour for up to 25 hours per month. This is a remote, contractual position beginning in February until June 30th, with the potential for renewal.
