What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct desk review assessments including quantitative analyses for carbon offset verification projects
- Conduct in-field observations and data collection at energy and industrial carbon offset project sites
- Interview project personnel and document site conditions relevant to verification
- Independently coordinate travel logistics and communicate with SCS verification team to align on assessment objectives

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in engineering, auditing, or inspection
- Experience with technical applications in industries like oil/gas well plugging, landfills, biochar production, ODS destruction, methane abatement, concrete production, or HFC reclaim/destruction
- Strong observational, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the United States and/or internationally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
