What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Conduct desk review assessments including quantitative analyses for carbon offset verification projects
  • Conduct in-field observations and data collection at energy and industrial carbon offset project sites
  • Interview project personnel and document site conditions relevant to verification
  • Independently coordinate travel logistics and communicate with SCS verification team to align on assessment objectives

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in engineering, auditing, or inspection
  • Experience with technical applications in industries like oil/gas well plugging, landfills, biochar production, ODS destruction, methane abatement, concrete production, or HFC reclaim/destruction
  • Strong observational, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel within the United States and/or internationally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
