What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photo and video content across a wide range of environments, operating as a one-person production unit when needed
- Edit high-quality video content across various formats, create light motion graphics in After Effects, and manage end-to-end podcast production
- Proactively seek out human stories, technical milestones, and cultural moments across Joby's facilities, interviewing engineers, technicians, pilots, and employees
- Translate complex technical work into clear, compelling, and accessible narratives, contributing to scripting, storyboards, and story development

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, Audio Production, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in video production, editing, and audio production
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, with strong understanding of Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, and multi-mic podcast setups
- Portfolio demonstrating video editing across short- and mid-form content, on-site shooting experience, motion graphics work, and audio/podcast experience
- Passion for storytelling and interest in aviation, engineering, or technology with ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
