Content Producer

Core responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photo and video content across a wide range of environments, operating as a one-person production unit when needed
• Edit high-quality video content across various formats, create light motion graphics in After Effects, and manage end-to-end podcast production
• Proactively seek out human stories, technical milestones, and cultural moments across Joby's facilities, interviewing engineers, technicians, pilots, and employees
• Translate complex technical work into clear, compelling, and accessible narratives, contributing to scripting, storyboards, and story development

This role helps tell the story of electric flight technology that redefines mobility, creating positive change by making air transportation more accessible and sustainable while reducing urban congestion.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, Audio Production, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in video production, editing, and audio production
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, with strong understanding of Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, and multi-mic podcast setups
• Portfolio demonstrating video editing across short- and mid-form content, on-site shooting experience, motion graphics work, and audio/podcast experience
• Passion for storytelling and interest in aviation, engineering, or technology with ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines

Compensation includes base pay ($80,700 - $111,000/yr) plus Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits package includes paid time off, healthcare, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, disability coverage, life insurance, and more.
