Consultant - Power Markets

The Consultant - Power Markets will:

• Conduct literature reviews of statistical and advanced models for forecasting demand and renewable energy power
• Identify gaps and integrated approaches to minimize uncertainty for renewables
• Test implications of generation and demand uncertainties using grid modeling tools
• Utilize statistical techniques and metaheuristic algorithms to support renewable energy integration strategies

This role creates positive change by building evidence for accelerated renewable energy adoption in India's power grid and improving the reliability of renewable power delivery, contributing to climate action and sustainable energy transition.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Master's or doctorate degree with specialization in data science/machine learning in power systems, energy systems, or renewable energy technologies
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the power sector
• Strong research background with proficiency in data analytics using Advanced MS Excel
• Proficiency in Python libraries, linear and non-linear optimization techniques, and time series analysis
