What you will drive

The Consultant - Power Markets will:

  • Conduct literature reviews of statistical and advanced models for forecasting demand and renewable energy power
  • Identify gaps and integrated approaches to minimize uncertainty for renewables
  • Test implications of generation and demand uncertainties using grid modeling tools
  • Utilize statistical techniques and metaheuristic algorithms to support renewable energy integration strategies

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Master's or doctorate degree with specialization in data science/machine learning in power systems, energy systems, or renewable energy technologies
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the power sector
  • Strong research background with proficiency in data analytics using Advanced MS Excel
  • Proficiency in Python libraries, linear and non-linear optimization techniques, and time series analysis
