Mission
What you will drive
- Lead a feasibility study to identify candidate sites for landscape-scale conservation of the Andean cat within its range
- Synthesize ecological, land use, and social data to develop integrated maps highlighting priority conservation areas
- Engage with local communities, indigenous groups, government agencies, and NGOs to gather insights and build partnerships
- Produce a comprehensive report evaluating 5-10 candidate collaboration sites using 9 specific criteria

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- M.Sc. in ecology, conservation biology, landscape planning, wildlife management, or related field
- Experience analyzing camera trap data and ecological/social datasets (preferred)
- Expertise in GIS, spatial analysis, and landscape connectivity modeling (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with local communities, indigenous groups, government agencies, and NGOs
- Ability to work independently in remote, field-based settings under challenging conditions
