Mission
What you will drive
- Provide technical leadership for developing and implementing regional and national fisheries management frameworks and plans aligned with Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries (EAF) and global best practices.
- Support establishment of the Regional Fisheries Management Working Group and lead development of Regional Fisheries Management Plans (RFMPs) for priority fisheries.
- Guide preparation of National Fisheries Management Plans (FMPs), strengthen monitoring, control, and surveillance (MCS) systems, and develop fisheries management indicators.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, capacity building, and training programs, ensuring inclusion of women and local communities.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced degree in Fisheries Management, Marine Science, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of proven experience in fisheries management and policy in regional projects.
- Proven experience in FMP/RFMP development and EAF application, with strong expertise in fisheries management frameworks and regulatory systems.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills (English); strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
