What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the app's architecture to support a comprehensive database of local ingredients, nutritional profiles, and pricing
  • Develop a robust back-end system to handle data integration, real-time updates, and advanced optimization algorithms for cost and nutritional precision
  • Create a user-friendly interface with localized content and language support to ensure accessibility and ease of use for farmers
  • Implement secure user authentication and data protection measures to support a growing user base and ensure data privacy

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a data scientist, data engineer, or research software engineer, ideally in an applied setting
  • Proficiency in app architecture design and back-end development
  • Experience with database management and integration of real-time data updates
  • Strong knowledge of user interface and template design with focus on user experience
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
  • Familiarity with frameworks and tools for mobile app development
  • Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
