Consultant, Environmental Geochemist (Casual)

• Contribute to water quality assessment and geochemical evaluation programs within the mining and oil & gas sectors.
• Support the development of defensible environmental datasets through rigorous analytical review and QA/QC processes.
• Help clients understand complex geochemical and hydrogeochemical conditions through data interpretation and conceptual model development.
• Participate in field and laboratory-based programs that inform environmental baseline studies and monitoring initiatives.

This role contributes to environmental stewardship by providing science-based geochemical solutions that support responsible resource development and help clients address complex environmental challenges.

• MSc or PhD in Environmental Geochemistry, Hydrogeochemistry, Aqueous Geochemistry, or similar discipline.
• 2+ years of experience organizing, managing, and executing environmental chemistry studies.
• Experience interfacing with the natural resource industry (oil & gas and/or mining).
• Strong data manipulation, graphing, and statistical analysis skills.

Hourly pay range: $35.17–$45.30 CAD per hour. Benefits include paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees. Casual hourly position with flexibility.
