Compliance Specialist

• Maintain proactive compliance capability through periodic review of systems, policies, and guidelines
• Continuously improve process design and controls by embedding compliance early in operational processes
• Handle reporting and regulator engagement, including preparing regulatory reports and managing complaint escalations
• Provide structured support for Operations by building training, SOPs, tools, and dashboards

This role helps ensure Amber's compliance as it scales, supporting the company's mission to accelerate Australia's transition to 100% renewable energy through innovative technology that makes clean energy more accessible and affordable.

• 1-3+ years experience in compliance or operations within energy, finance, or telecommunications sectors
• Understanding of regulatory framework for electricity retailers or ability to quickly learn
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to dive into detailed operational processes
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, problem-solving ability, and persistence in fast-paced environments
