Community Outreach Specialist

• Plan, promote, and lead outreach events in local communities (2-4 per week) to connect uninsured individuals with health coverage options.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and leaders to establish outreach and enrollment sites.
• Provide in-person, phone, and virtual assistance with health coverage applications and follow up to ensure successful enrollment.

This role directly helps uninsured Pennsylvanians access free or low-cost health coverage, reducing medical debt and improving health equity in underserved communities.

• Proven experience in community outreach, sales, organizing, or social services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable speaking to groups and tailoring messages.
• Able to learn complex rules and regulations; tech-savvy with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and communication tools (e.g., Slack).
• Bachelor's degree (any relevant field) or associate's degree with significant work experience; Spanish fluency strongly desired.

Salary: $46,000 - $51,000 annually. Real flexibility, excellent benefits, fully remote with self-scheduled nights and weekends.
