Community Outreach Specialist

• Plan, promote, and lead outreach events in local communities (e.g., schools, clinics, food banks) to connect uninsured individuals with health coverage options.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and leaders to establish outreach and enrollment sites.
• Provide in-person, phone, and virtual assistance with health coverage applications and follow up to ensure successful enrollment.
• Share community feedback to improve outreach and advocacy efforts.

This role directly helps uninsured Pennsylvanians access free or low-cost health coverage, reducing medical debt and improving health equity in the community.

• Proven experience in community outreach, sales, organizing, or social services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to engage and build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable speaking to groups and tailoring messages for different audiences.
• Tech-savvy with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and communication tools (e.g., Slack); ability to learn complex rules and regulations.

Salary: $46,000 - $51,000 annually. Real flexibility, excellent benefits, remote work with self-scheduled nights and weekends.
