Community Organizer (New Hampshire + Maine) - candidates can be based anwhere in NH/ Southern Maine

• Craft and facilitate community organizing workshops on campaign planning, messaging, and fundraising.
• Build relationships with leaders in impacted communities to identify environmental threats and develop creative strategies.
• Increase Slingshot's media presence through local events, press releases, campaign materials, and online organizing.
• Cultivate relationships with local foundations, write grant applications, and engage in grassroots fundraising.

This role creates positive change by empowering communities on the frontlines of climate and environmental injustice, building grassroots power to take on polluters and protect health and the environment in New Hampshire and Maine.

• At least three years of related work experience, such as community organizing or grassroots campaign coordination.
• Experience living in or working with frontline communities, especially people of color, Indigenous communities, immigrants, and low-income people.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking, and effective facilitation skills.
• Experience with leadership development, campaign planning, and a passion for racial, economic, and environmental justice.
