What you will drive
- Lead community engagement for renewable energy projects, shaping local presence and building support from development through operations.
- Diligence early-stage projects to assess community context and risk, and create engagement strategies including messaging, coalition building, and stakeholder management.
- Manage project communications campaigns, coordinate local events and sponsorships, and build key regional partnerships to raise the company's profile.
- Scale project processes by managing external consultants, training internal teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications, political science, community development, renewable energy, environmental studies, urban planning, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in community organizing, advocacy, campaign management, local government, or stakeholder engagement in renewable energy.
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in the New York City area and strong understanding of local governmental structures.
- Excellent organization and project management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
