Community Engagement Coordinator

Core responsibilities:

• Responds to questions from the community regarding AIM at Melanoma's content and educational events
• Distributes educational resources to medical offices throughout the U.S. and maintains specialist listings from AIM's website
• Assists with logistical details of the foundation's annual professional meetings and coordinates volunteers for community events
• Enters volunteer and shareholder contact information into Salesforce database and assists with data collection for patient and sun safety educational events

This role creates positive change by building strong relationships with community members and stakeholders, distributing educational resources about melanoma prevention, and supporting events that raise awareness about sun safety and melanoma treatment.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse community members
• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with customer service software (Sales Force preferred)
• Experience in event planning and community outreach, with leadership experience in volunteer or paid roles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and creativity; Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation and work arrangement:

• Pay is $30/hour
• Part-time contract position (approximately 20 hours per week)
• Fully remote work with flexibility on when work is performed
