Community Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Project management of community development initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement across the West of England region
• Drawing on best practice to inspire, facilitate and offer support to community groups
• Helping groups implement projects that address local needs

This role creates positive change by addressing key rural issues facing communities locally, including access to jobs and services, affordable housing, and health and wellbeing, while demonstrating the value of community-led responses and leveraging longer-term support.

• Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement

Salary: £37,296 (pro rata for 28 hours/week)

Fixed term contract for 16 months

Remote work with frequent travel across West of England region
