Communications Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Support the development and ongoing refinement of The ImPact's communications strategy
• Lead planning and production of core member-facing communications (e.g., newsletters, member portal, website content)
• Design and manage internal communications workflows and project management across time zones
• Provide support on external-facing communications and coordinate with external partners as needed

This role creates positive change by ensuring The ImPact's communications reflect the depth, values, and intent of the community while translating complex ideas about impact investing and systems change into clear, accessible messaging that supports members, partners, and the organization's long-term vision.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in communications, marketing, or content development (ideally in investing or philanthropic context)
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides for creating visually appealing presentations
• Experience working cross-functionally in small or growing organizations with strong judgment and attention to detail

The ImPact offers competitive salaried compensation commensurate with experience and location, and generous benefits that vary by labor market. The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 USD for U.S.-based candidates. For those joining from other regions, compensation is localized to specific labor markets to ensure equitable pay across the global team. The organization is a global, remote team that meets in person at least once a year during team retreats or global member events.
