Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead priority PAW communications deliverables including human stories and case-based communications
  • Develop and maintain PAW graphic templates, visual assets, and ensure consistent branding across all outputs
  • Support events team with communications needs for key programmatic events and develop event-specific comms plans
  • Coordinate with PAW partners to align messaging and provide additional communications support as needed

This role creates positive change by amplifying the impact and visibility of the Protect Aid Workers initiative, which provides critical support to humanitarian personnel who have experienced serious security incidents, helping to fill gaps in protection where organizational or national systems are insufficient.

Required skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience leading communications for complex programmes, partnerships, or campaigns
  • Experience developing human stories end-to-end and competence in graphic design tools (InDesign and Canva)
  • Proven experience producing high-quality visual materials including templates, toolkits, and brand assets
  • Strong writing skills for different audiences and experience leading communications for events

Salary: £40,000 FTE (£20,000 pro rata for part-time). Contract duration: Fixed term until 30 June 2026 with strong likelihood of extension. Location: Remote within the UK with occasional travel as needed.
