Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Consumer Action's external communications strategy
- Manage digital and social media presence, including drafting publications, newsletters, social media posts, and website content
- Write, edit, and revise consumer education publications, media releases, consumer alerts, and training materials
- Assist in drafting action alerts, regulatory comments, legislative summaries, and other external communications

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in organizational communications/public relations in a nonprofit environment
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit diverse communications including press releases, newsletters, and consumer education materials
- Knowledge of social media platforms, AP stylebook, consumer services/products, and Microsoft Office programs
