What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an Australia-focused communications strategy aligned with Halter's global narrative and growth plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian journalists across rural, mainstream, business, and technology media
- Act as the primary media contact for Halter Australia and manage the Australian PR and communications agency
- Identify and proactively manage reputational risks in the Australian market, particularly around animal welfare, technology adoption, and operational incidents

Required qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or journalism
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape with established journalist relationships
- Proven experience delivering proactive PR and managing reputational risk or crisis situations
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
