What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an Australia-focused communications strategy aligned with Halter's global narrative and growth plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian journalists across rural, mainstream, business, and technology media
  • Act as the primary media contact for Halter Australia and manage the Australian PR and communications agency
  • Identify and proactively manage reputational risks in the Australian market, particularly around animal welfare, technology adoption, and operational incidents

Required qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or journalism
  • Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape with established journalist relationships
  • Proven experience delivering proactive PR and managing reputational risk or crisis situations
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
