Communications Intern (Editorial)

• Line-edit and support editorial products
• Thoroughly fact-check and proof-read articles
• Support the Communications team in maintaining media databases, creating new databases, and tracking media coverage
• Research media trends for the sustainability sector
• Support the Communications team in developing concept notes and briefs, as well as proofreading and editing key documents
• Identify and create new media contacts and opportunities

This role supports communication activities that promote research and impact at scale in energy, environment, and water policy, helping to advance sustainability and climate resilience in India.

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in English literature, journalism, and related disciplines
• 0-1 year experience in creative writing/copywriting, editing, secondary research and coordination
• Excellent communication skills — spoken and written English language skills
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• An interest in news and Indian media is a must
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Ability to adhere to (and manage multiple) timelines
