Communications Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage all strategic communications for an 18-month EU-funded project on supporting inclusive dialogue and peacebuilding in Türkiye
• Develop and operationalize a comprehensive communications strategy in line with project proposal and donor requirements
• Lead external communication throughout project lifecycle, ensuring consistent messaging and strong public visibility
• Produce ongoing content, manage digital platforms, coordinate media engagements, and provide regular communications performance analytics

This role supports peace and democracy building in Türkiye through strengthened public dialogue and political engagement, contributing to conflict resolution and democratic advancement in the region.

Required qualifications:

• At least 5+ years' experience in a mid-level communications role for NGOs
• Additional 2+ years' experience working as an independent consultant
• Strong knowledge of EU communications guidelines and experience working on EU projects
• Experience working in peace building, conflict resolution, or related fields (desirable)
• Turkish language skills (a plus)

Compensation and terms:

• Daily rate: £310-£320 (depending on experience)
• Level of effort: 100-110 days over 18 months
• Flexible schedule with remote work arrangement
• Payment upon completion of each deliverable
