About the Role
Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Director of Communications in executing organizational communication strategies across digital and print platforms
- Produce, edit, and format content for website, social media, newsletters, email updates, and promotional materials
- Support advocacy campaigns by producing communications products such as social media graphics, blogs, fact sheets, and email content
- Assist in maintaining content calendars, monitoring online presence, and collecting metrics on communications performance

Required skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience or familiarity supporting social media, email newsletters, and websites using platforms like Mailchimp or Squarespace
- Interest or experience in creating visual and digital content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and changing priorities
- Exposure to advocacy, outreach, or nonprofit communications efforts
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and partners
