Communications Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Maintain GEC's public assets (e.g., website and social media), develop public-facing communications materials, develop and steward communications processes, and serve in an editorial function for all GEC public content.
• Support the Strategic Communications Manager by coordinating routine communications activities, developing processes, and drafting position pieces.
• Coordinate editorial process, maintain internal deliverable production queue, and coordinate all stages of production process.
• Manage regular workflows for newsletters, social media, and websites, including content planning, design, and distribution.

This role helps communicate Good Energy Collective's mission and positions to the public, supporting their work in nuclear energy advocacy and policy.

Required skills, experience, qualifications:

• Experience with website and social media management
• Experience developing communications materials and processes
• Editorial skills for public content
• Ability to coordinate communications activities and production processes
