Communications and Narrative Lab Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Process all Communications and Narrative Lab expenses
• Manage departmental calendars, including meetings and retreats
• Arrange travel for Communications and Narrative Lab teams
• Coordinate logistics for departmental events and activities
• Manage vendor and sponsorship relationships
• Provide technical support for webinars and virtual gatherings
• Proofread written materials as needed

This role supports narrative change work that centers BIPOC and trans voices, counters misinformation, and mobilizes communities toward collective action in support of trans lives, ensuring day-to-day operations support communications work that strengthens LGBTQ+ and allied movements.

Required qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous administrative experience at a comparable organization or company
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Airtable
• Technical experience with virtual events and webinars (Zoom, Facebook Live, YouTube Live)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Excellent organizational skills with keen eye for detail
• Event planning and logistical coordination experience
• Enthusiasm for the organization's work and commitment to uplifting marginalized communities
