Communications Advisor

• Strengthen the visibility, influence, and impact of the Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform and its country programs across the Pacific.
• Develop and implement communications strategies, produce high-quality communications and knowledge products, and create engaging visual and multimedia content.
• Provide strategic communications advice and hands-on support including content development, stakeholder engagement, public diplomacy communications, graphic design, and visual storytelling.

This role amplifies the impact of Australian development initiatives in the Pacific by effectively communicating program outcomes, fostering stakeholder engagement, and showcasing positive changes in governance, economic growth, and community resilience.

• Experienced communications professional with expertise in strategic communications, public relations, graphic and visual design, and communications advisory services.
• Demonstrated experience delivering communications support for government, international development organisations, or donor-funded programs.
• Strong project management skills, excellent written and visual communication abilities, and experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with DFAT-funded programs, Pacific development contexts, and public diplomacy communications highly regarded.
