Communication Officer (interim)

Core responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of major communication campaigns, including flagship events like Education & Skills Days, EIT Awards, and Water launch
• Provide administrative, logistical and coordination support to the Communication Section, including liaising with the Publications Office on graphic and publication deliverables
• Strengthen the visibility of EIT communication activities within the European Commission and monitor communication opportunities
• Draft news items and updates for the EIT website and social media channels, and design visual materials for various communication assets

This role strengthens the visibility of innovation and education initiatives within the European Commission and across Europe, supporting the EIT's mission to drive sustainable growth and competitiveness through innovation.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of three years' relevant experience in communications or related discipline (four years if university studies were less than four years)
• Excellent command of English language (at least C1 Level based on Common Framework of Reference Languages)
• Computer literacy with excellent use of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• University degree corresponding to at least three years of completed studies

Compensation and perks:

• Salary range: 3,500 - 5,000 EUR gross per month (converted to HUF for payment)
• Home office option by arrangement
• Company laptop provided
• 40 hours/week with flexible lunch break between 12:00 to 14:40
