Commissioning and Asset Adoption Manager

• Lead the commissioning, operational readiness, and adoption process for new, modified, and adopted heat network assets.
• Act as the operational asset receiver, ensuring assets are technically complete, safely commissioned, and properly documented.
• Coordinate handover between Delivery and Operations, including review of documentation, training, and residual risks.
• Maintain adoption tracker and conduct post-adoption reviews to feed lessons learned into future projects.

This role ensures that heat network assets are safely and efficiently brought into operation, directly contributing to the delivery of low-carbon heating solutions and reducing carbon emissions in the region.

• Experience in commissioning, asset adoption, operational readiness, or technical assurance within district heating, building services, utilities, or similar infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical design information, commissioning records, O&M manuals, and statutory certificates.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including CDM, DSEAR, PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and L8.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
