About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and high-impact Commercial Director to join our Cluster Center leadership team. This is a critical matrix role designed to bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution. You will be the commercial engine for your cluster, driving sales excellence and process efficiency across both Independent (Indies) and Key Account teams.
This role is for a builder and a coach - someone who can navigate a complex international matrix to unify ways of working and elevate the performance of our local Country Directors and Sales Leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Performance Steering: Partner with Country Directors and Local Commercial Leaders to ensure local market strategies are perfectly aligned with global commercial objectives. Act as a critical friend / sparring partner to local leadership; support and challenge them on core metrics to ensure every country in your cluster hits its performance targets.
- Sales Excellence & Tooling: Drive the successful implementation of global projects within the cluster, collaborating across Product, Group Strategy, and Global Commercial teams. Own the G2M strategy for the cluster, ensuring new tools and processes are adopted seamlessly by local teams.
- Best Practices & Performance Management: Reinforce consistent ways of working across local teams, acting as a role model for excellence. Drive a culture of best-practice sharing so that a "win" in one market becomes a blueprint for the entire cluster.

This role helps reduce food waste by expanding Too Good To Go's commercial operations across multiple European countries, directly contributing to the organization's mission of fighting food waste and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Significant senior leadership experience in high velocity Outbound B2B sales, with a proven track record in FMCG or Online Marketplaces.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and influence senior stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
- Past experience managing high-stakes enterprise relationships and navigating the complexities of large-scale commercial deals.
- Strong strategic thinker with excellent financial literacy, experience with P&L ownership and the ability to build robust business cases.
- Deep experience using sales KPIs and technology (CRM/Sales tools) to diagnose performance gaps and drive efficiency.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Additional cluster-relevant languages are a significant advantage.
