Commercial Associate

• Support project capital raising activities, including relationship management, investor due diligence and outreach efforts
• Oversee and refine project financial models, including plant cost models, working closely with engineering and finance teams
• Support and eventually lead dedicated project-level capital raises (development facilities, grants, and project finance)
• Execute special commercial initiatives from structuring to close
• Collaborate across departments to align financial, technical, and strategic objectives

This role helps drive capital formation and project financing for Last Energy's initiatives, supporting the organization's mission to advance clean energy solutions and reduce carbon emissions through innovative power projects.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial, financial, or investment roles within the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both investors and technical stakeholders
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple dynamic projects
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, startup-style environment that requires initiative and adaptability
• Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK
