Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide developmentally and culturally appropriate guidance to college students on college applications, financial aid, career development, and personal growth through virtual and in-person advising.
  • Facilitate virtual cohort-based advising program (SOAR), including leading group discussions and building supportive online communities.
  • Create engaging content such as articles, videos, and lesson plans for SRA programs, and assist in planning and evaluating workshops.
  • Monitor and track student data using Salesforce and Google Workspace to recognize trends and inform advising.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of college advising experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Commitment to working with first-generation college students and low-income backgrounds; willingness to explore power and privilege.
  • Strong computer skills with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Zoom; self-directed with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to connect with students via technology.
