What you will drive

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand and strengthen the Rebuild Local News Coalition, aligning efforts with organizational goals.
  • Manage monthly coalition meeting agendas, coordinate guest speakers, and ensure sessions align with member needs.
  • Steward membership by ensuring clear value, coordinating recruitment, and maintaining member data.
  • Support communications and advocacy by mobilizing coalition members around policy developments and urgent calls to action.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in community organizing, grassroots engagement, membership coordination, or advocacy.
  • Track record of managing large-scale stakeholder networks and developing member-informed programming.
  • Familiarity with digital organizing and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Action Network, EveryAction, HubSpot, or Airtable).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to translate policy into clear member-facing language.
