Cloud Engineer

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS and/or Azure infrastructure to ensure security, performance, and availability of production systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and private Terraform modules.
• Manage configuration and deployment of large server clusters using Terraform, Serverless Framework, and Cloud Formation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineering and application management to resolve production issues and identify root causes.

This role supports Republic Services' environmental sustainability mission by ensuring reliable and secure cloud infrastructure for waste and recycling operations, contributing to a more sustainable world.

• 4+ years of software development or automation architecture experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role with AWS and/or Azure.
• 2+ years of experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform, Serverless framework, CloudFormation, Docker, bash, Linux, git, GitHub, JavaScript/NodeJS.
• 2+ years of experience using Agile/Scrum methodology.

Pay range: $90,800 - $124,850 per year (DOE).
