Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for Operations (design, installation and maintenance) of our Development, Testing, and Production environments.

• Create and utilize tools to monitor applications and services in the cloud, including system health indicators, trend identification, and anomaly detection.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based systems architecture following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Automate code builds and deployments based on DevOps/Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles.
• Install, Configure, and Support Oracle and MS SQL Enterprise level database systems and infrastructure

• 5 years' experience in designing, building, and administering internet-based full stack commercial applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with container and orchestration technologies – Docker and Kubernetes preferred
• Hands-on experience with cloud formation / Terraform templates and managing cloud-based environments (primarily AWS)
