What you will drive

Core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of climate vulnerability assessments, climate adaptation and resilience plans, strategies, and policy initiatives
  • Using GIS to analyze climate vulnerability and produce mapping products
  • Interpreting and applying local, regional, state, and federal climate adaptation and resilience policies and regulations
  • Coordinating public engagement activities, stakeholder workshops, and outreach for planning documents and approvals

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong technical, writing, and communication skills, with a background in climate and sea level rise vulnerability assessments and adaptation planning
  • Experience developing or implementing resilience strategies related to infrastructure, governance, and/or policy
  • Ability to work closely with managers to balance multiple projects and deadlines, delegate tasks to junior staff, and communicate clearly with clients and team members
  • Experience in urban planning or policy modeling/design is beneficial
