Civil Site Lead, Power Delivery 

Core responsibilities for this role include:

• Lead and manage all civil work at substation and transmission line sites, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and construction schedules
• Create and supervise earthwork, grading, drainage systems, access roads, cable trenches and foundations for substation and transmission lines
• Review, interpret and create civil design drawings, technical documents, report discrepancies and provide practical solutions
• Manage site surveys to assist with determination of transmission line routes and substation layouts

This role supports the development of transmission and substation projects that modernize energy infrastructure, contributing to more reliable and efficient power delivery systems.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Experience leading discipline work for projects and performing responsible engineering
• Ability to support project managers on project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in all aspects of site civil work
• Technical expertise in site civil services including grading, drainage, stormwater management, SWPP, fencing, SESC, site plans and geotechnical design
• Ability to review and approve civil construction methodologies, work plans and method statements submitted by contractors

AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States. Occasional travel required to other AECOM locations and Client sites.
