Job Summary
About
- Lead and manage all civil work at substation and transmission line sites, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and construction schedules
- Create and supervise earthwork, grading, drainage systems, access roads, cable trenches and foundations for substation and transmission lines
- Review, interpret and create civil design drawings, technical documents, report discrepancies and provide practical solutions
- Manage site surveys to assist with determination of transmission line routes and substation layouts

- Experience leading discipline work for projects and performing responsible engineering
- Ability to support project managers on schedules, budgets, and deliverables in all aspects of site civil work
- Technical expertise in civil engineering for power delivery systems including transmission and substation projects
- Ability to provide technical leadership to site civil engineers, inspectors, assign tasks, review work and mentor team members
