Civil Engineer, Development Engineering (2+ years experience)

As a Civil Engineer on Intersect Power's Development Engineering team, you will:

• Advance complex clean energy projects from early feasibility through Issued for Construction (IFC) design
• Own early-stage civil due diligence, develop constraint maps, optimize site layouts, and guide civil design elements
• Work closely with partners across Development, Engineering, Real Estate, GIS, Permitting, Construction, Finance, and Operations
• Support project development from concept to completion, identifying and mitigating design, budget, and schedule risks

This role contributes to designing the infrastructure powering a sustainable future by advancing clean energy projects and helping accelerate power deployment for transformative clean energy projects.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years experience in design, project management, or construction of renewable energy projects
• Solid understanding of civil design principles, technical diligence processes, and EPC construction standards
• Working knowledge of wind and/or solar, including system design, optimization, and cost drivers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong project management abilities
