China Research and Strategic Coordination Associate

• Manage the Director's schedule, track tasks and goals, and provide administrative support for LINGO's China-related activities.
• Monitor Chinese policy, institutional, and sector developments; conduct open-ended research and synthesis.
• Produce short, structured briefings for internal use and identify relevant actors and opportunities in China.

This role supports LINGO's mission to keep fossil fuels in the ground by enabling effective coordination and research on China's energy transition, contributing to global climate action.

• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin.
• Excellent attention to detail and track record of quickly becoming fluent in new topics.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance and strong organizational/time management skills.
• Comfortable with English as work language in meetings and emails.

Compensation: CNY 8,000 - 15,000 gross per month (depending on experience and time availability). Part-time remote role with flexible schedule.
