Chief Technology Officer

• Lead the development of all of Overstory's technology, including software product, ML models, internal tools, and underlying platform.
• Build and scale a high-performing, diverse engineering team working remotely across multiple countries and time zones.
• Create a compelling technical vision and translate it into a strategy for the next 12-36 months.
• Work closely with VP Product & Strategy to propel the business forward by understanding customer problems and leading bold engineering initiatives.

This role helps prevent wildfires and power outages by using AI and satellite imagery to identify vegetation risks, contributing to a safer, more resilient electrical grid and addressing climate change challenges.

• Experience managing teams of 70+ people through VC-backed startup growth from Series A through Series C or later.
• Proven track record with complex, ML-based products (geospatial or remote sensing experience is a bonus).
• Deep understanding of software development processes and product-centric approach to building technology.
• Experience managing remote and global teams across multiple time zones.
