Chief of Staff to the CRO

Core responsibilities:

• Partner directly with the CRO to set and execute strategic priorities across the commercial organization
• Represent Via externally with customers and strategic partners, including in complex negotiations
• Lead cross-functional projects with high visibility and direct business impact — from scoping through execution
• Test new commercial and go-to-market strategies in the field alongside Via's sales teams, translating learnings into scalable playbooks
• Identify and drive improvements in revenue operations that impact growth and profitability
• Build and lead a small team as scope expands

This role helps create public transportation systems that provide far greater access to jobs, healthcare, and education by driving growth and strategic execution within Via's commercial organization.

Required skills and experience:

• 8–12+ years of experience, with a background in consulting, commercial strategy, deal-making, or revenue leadership
• A strategic operator who combines analytical rigor with a bias for action
• A natural leader who leads through influence and direct management
• A savvy communicator who handles sensitive internal and external conversations with care
• An experienced navigator who has worked complex deals or partnerships and knows how to get to close
• Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives when the path isn't clear

Compensation and benefits:

• Base Salary Range: $200,000-$450,000 annually
