Chief of Staff

• Partner with the CEO to identify, structure, and drive critical strategic and transformational initiatives.
• Shape executive operating cadence and decision effectiveness by clarifying decision rights and tracking execution.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and execution on enterprise priorities.
• Shape strategic narrative and CEO communications for internal and external stakeholders.

This role amplifies the CEO's effectiveness, enabling faster decision-making and execution of initiatives that advance Solid Power's mission to revolutionize battery technology with all solid-state rechargeable batteries, contributing to a sustainable energy future.

• MBA required; undergraduate degree in Engineering or STEM preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program leadership, or senior business roles.
• Experience in complex, matrixed, public company environments preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to influence without authority.

Salary range: $180,000 - $230,000/year. Comprehensive benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, employer-paid Life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance, 401k with company match, 8 paid holidays plus week between Christmas and New Year off, Unlimited PTO, up to 6 weeks paid FMLA leave, cell phone reimbursement, and eligibility for bonus and equity plans.
