Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities
- Strategic partnership: Be an integral part of the executive team to deliver the vision and strategy to drive innovation and excellence in technology driven energy transition.
- Accounting Systems and Practices: Establish, monitor, enhance accounting systems. Enforce best accounting practices and internal controls, utilizing GAAP.
- Financial Planning: Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to optimize business operations and maximize profitability, manage risk and identify strategic opportunities for revenue growth and efficiencies.
- Reporting & Communication: Lead in the preparation and communication of all financial statements and filings with internal and external stakeholders, including the board.
- Tax & Treasury: Manage filing and compliance for all foreign and domestic tax requirements. Oversee cash-related activities and drive the most efficient use of working capital while managing cash flow risk.
- Strategic Growth and M&A: Partner with our Chief Growth Officer to drive and execute on growth through strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and global expansion.
- Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing global finance and accounting team to execute on the company's business goals and financial objectives.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, MBA, and a CPA or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years as a senior leader building a high performing finance organization with 5 or more years in a CFO role.
- Prior experience with a PE-backed firm.
- Prior leadership experience in a global consulting or professional services firm.
- Experience in an early-stage SaaS products.
- Demonstrated experience in capital management, fundraising, M&A activities, and global expansion.
- Experience managing and directing the implementation of an ERP system.
- Passion for knowledge and a propensity towards curiosity.
