Mission
What you will drive
- Lead EarthShare's finance function across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit, treasury, cash management, internal controls, and financial compliance.
- Design and manage the financial architecture supporting EarthShare's DAF, fiscal sponsorship, and workplace giving programs, including fund accounting, donor reporting, fee modeling, liquidity planning, and investment oversight.
- Partner with the CEO, COO, and Board to develop multi-year financial models, growth scenarios, and strategic financial plans that enable responsible scaling and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, donor restrictions, regulatory requirements, and fiduciary best practices while increasing financial transparency and decision support across the organization.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- CPA, MBA, or relevant advanced credential required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- Ten or more years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level experience in a nonprofit, philanthropic, or mission-driven environment.
- Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting (GAAP), audits, Form 990, internal controls, budgeting, and financial reporting; experience with donor-advised funds, fiscal sponsorship, or complex restricted fund environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to translate organizational strategy into financial plans, multi-year forecasts, and scenario models; strong analytical, communication, and board presentation skills.
