Chief Development Officer

• Design and implement a comprehensive, multi-year fund development strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Lead comprehensive fundraising efforts across corporate partnerships, foundations, government grants, and individual major donors.
• Develop compelling narrative proposals and impact reports to strengthen organizational positioning and thought leadership.
• Oversee grants administration, financial strategy, and program evaluation to ensure alignment with mission.

This role directly advances the mission of National CARES Mentoring Movement by securing the resources needed to recruit, train, and engage mentors for children and families in poverty, helping them build bridges to brighter futures.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive fundraising and development leadership experience.
• Proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar funding from diverse sources.
• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting in diverse settings.
